🔮 How To Pay GST Online?
📃 Steps
Note: In most cases it is best to pay through the website of your banking provider rather than using the mobile banking application (app). This is because features are usually built first for the website then implemented in the mobile banking app.

- Visit ANZ and sign in to your internet banking.
- Click on "Pay & transfer".
- Click on "Pay tax".
- In the Tax Type dropdown select "Goods and Services Tax (GST)".
- For the tax period end date select the period for which you need to pay GST.
- Then select the year ending for which you need to pay GST.
- Enter either your personal or company GST number in the IRD number column. It’s the same as your personal or company IRD number.
- Enter the amount of GST you are paying for the selected period. (Note that you can make multiple part payments towards your total GST within the due date).

- Visit ASB and sign in to your internet banking.
- Click on "Make a payment" on the top of the screen.
- Click on "IRD payment" on the top of the screen.
- In the Payment Type dropdown select "Goods and Services Tax (GST)" and click next.
- Enter either your personal or company GST number in the IRD number column. It’s the same as your personal or company IRD number.
- For the tax period end date select the period for which you need to pay GST.
- Then select the year ending for which you need to pay GST.
- Enter the amount of GST you are paying for the selected period. (Note that you can make multiple part payments towards your total GST within the due date).
- Visit BNZ and sign in to your internet banking.
- Click on "Menu" on the top of the screen.
- Click on "Pay or transfer" on the top of the screen.
- Under From select the account from which GST taxes will be paid from.
- Under To select "Tax" and click on "Goods and Services Tax".
- Enter the amount of GST you are paying for the selected period. (Note that you can make multiple part payments towards your total GST within the due date).
- For the tax period ending date select the period for which you need to pay GST.
- Enter either your personal or company GST number in the IRD number column. It’s the same as your personal or company IRD number.
- Under "For your statement" you may enter any details that will show up in your account transactions.
- Click on "Pay" and confirm that all the details entered are correct.

- Click on "Set up a payment to Pay tax".
- Select the account you will be paying GST taxes from.
- Under Details click "Enter tax details" and for the "Tax payment type:" select "Goods and Services Tax (GST)".
- Enter either your personal or company GST number in the IRD number column. It’s the same as your personal or company IRD number.
- For the tax period end date select the period for which you need to pay GST.
- Then select the year ending for which you need to pay GST.
- Click on "Done" to close the "Tax payment type" window.
- Enter the amount of GST you are paying for the selected period. (Note that you can make multiple part payments towards your total GST within the due date).
- Click on "Continue" and confirm that all the details entered are correct.

- Open your web browser of choice e.g. Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge etc.
- Visit your bank's website and sign in to your internet banking.
- Please select pay tax from the pay and transfer. It could be listed under Payments as IRD Payments or ask your bank. For ASB you will need to first select "Make a payment" then "IRD Payment" from the list of options.
- Please select (GST) “Goods and Services Tax” from the dropdown list of pay tax for the tax type
- Please enter either your personal or company GST number in the IRD number column. It’s the same as your personal or company IRD number.
- Please enter 01-10-2022 to 31-03-2023 (six-monthly) for the tax period (or pick the period that relates to your payment). Due dates are 28-10-2021 *(1st Half March 2022)* and 07-05-2022 *(2nd Half March 2022)* respectively for the above periods.
- Please enter the amount you are paying for that period (note that you can make multiple part payments towards your total GST within the due date).
