📁 How To Export My Bank Transactions?
Follow the steps listed below for your bank to export transactions as an excel (.xlsx, .xls) or .csv file. In most cases it is better to use a laptop/desktop computer to perform these steps rather than using a mobile application.
- ANZ
- ASB
- BNZ
- Kiwibank
- Westpac
ANZ
- Visit ANZ and sign in to your internet banking.
- Select the account you want to export transactions for.
- Above your transactions click on the export button. Choose a start and end date for the transaction export.
- Under File Format click on Excel.
- Click on the export button which should download an Excel file with your transactions to your computer.

ASB
- Visit ASB and sign in to your internet banking.
- Select the account you want to export transactions for.
- Above your transactions choose a start and end date for the transaction export and click on view on screen.
- Click on the dropdown "Export as..." and select "CSV Generic".
- A .csv file should be downloaded to your computer with your transactions history for the desired period you selected earlier.
BNZ
- Visit BNZ and sign in to your internet banking.
- Select the account you want to export transactions for.
- On the top of the screen click the "Export" button.
- In the popup select "CSV" for the Format and "Custom date range" for the period.
- Choose a start and end date for the transaction export and click on the "Export" button.
- A .csv file should be downloaded to your computer with your transactions history for the desired period you selected earlier.
Kiwibank
- Visit Kiwibank and sign in to your internet banking.
- Select the account you want to export transactions for.
- On top of your transactions you'll see a date range. Choose a start and end date for the transaction export.
- Click on "Search/export options".
- In the "Export" dropdown select "Comma Separated Values - Basic (CSV)".
- Click on the "Export" button.
- A .csv file should be downloaded to your computer with your transactions history for the desired period you selected earlier.
Westpac Bank
- Visit Westpac and sign in to your internet banking.
- Select the account you want to export transactions for.
- On the top of the screen click the "Export transactions" button.
- For the "Timeframe" choose a start and end date.
- For the "Format" dropdown choose "CSV dd/mm/yyyy" and click on the export button.
- A .csv file should be downloaded to your computer with your transactions history for the desired period you selected earlier.
